Taganaidin
The House of the New Dawn
Aeonare , an Elven Fey, usurped the throne of Palawyr, bringing forth (through magical means unknown,) an army of Elves and Shadow Fey. The armies of the murdered King Benarius vanished, as did every mortal servant of his house. The royal Keep, Laethemara, was deserted, and quickly fell to ruin, as the new Empress relocated her own court to a wide meadow at the foot of The White Mountains, several leagues to the North.
The land, and the hunting lodge which marked it, had been Benarius' wedding gift to his fair queen, but now it has become the Imperial Seat, marked first by a marble palisade, and then by ethereal spires of alabaster. Within the first year of her brutal reign, Aeonare transformed lodge into her Imperial Palace, armed with a swelling army now dubbed the Emerald Watch. She surrounded herself with a court of Elven Fey. If any mortal eye has ever fallen upon the splendors of Taganaidin, they have not lived to tell the tale.

Defences
Taganaidin is surrounded by wall, moat, and palisade, within which the bulk of the Emerald Guard is barracked. Beyond lay extensive gardens and groves, winding white stone paths and arching colonnades connecting a network of slender spires, wherein the Imperial Magisters- the Gilded Hand - pursue their studies.
