The White Mountains
The Northern-most mountain range in Palawyr, named for the marble, alabaster, and limestone so frequently quarried there.
Geography
Because of the temperate climate of Palawyr's northern interior, the White Mountains owe their snow-covered appearance to outcroppings of quartz and alabaster. In fact, actual snow is almost exclusively seasonal, rarely lingering even in the highest altitudes past the Spring thaw.
Natural Resources
In addition to marble, alabaster, and limestone, the mines of the White Mountains produce opal, chalcedony, silver, and tin.
