Temple of Lyssa

The candles still burn in the lamps of the temple of Lyssa in Torchstone, though few visit but for medical care the temple provides without charge.

There is a simple wooden farmhouse behind the temple which serves as a rectory for the servants of Lyssa, although some of the acolytes live off temple grounds, with their families.

Architecture

The temple is a square structure of somber grey stone, once regularly bleached white, before the rise of the Empire. At it's front stand four stone pillars, overgrown with thorned red roses, which acolytes still harvest and lay before the altar. The building stands atop a sandy hill, its lanterns visible from almost anywhere in Torchstone. Some have argued that the place resembles a tomb.
