Brightenglass

Private Residence (Comfortable) Brightenglass is a multi-family residence, a long building divided into three living spaces. The grand double doors for each of these residences are not only inset with beautiful stained leaded glass, but they are also flanked by fine stained-glass windows: these attention-drawing entries are the origins of the residence hall's name.

Layout

Each of the three residencies has the same rooms, although they are laid out somewhat differently. Additionally, the middle residency is slightly cheaper than the others, lacking windows, although the roofing of Brightenglass has multiple panels of frosted glass in its roof, to let in ample natural light. Each of the impressive doors opens into an entry, with an arch that leads to a family room. The walls on both sides of the arches are pierced with tall, thin stained-glass windows, making the entryways seem to be partially outdoors. The family rooms tend to be decorated and furnished according to the preferred styles of the residents, though space for the eating of meals tends to be the preference. Each residence has a single master bedroom, usually with a private entrance into the household's single bath & water-closet. Each residency has three other small rooms, which may variously serve as bedrooms, salons, offices, or libraries. Finally, each residence also boasts a small kitchen, with attendant pantry space. Residents & Staff In the northernmost household resides Sentimalier Orvous (N Turami human noble), one of the most highly-regarded personal clothier in Waterdeep. Master Sentimalier (as his clients call him, given his rank in the Order of Master Taylors, Glovers, and Mercers) does not have or need a shop. Instead, his specialty is coming to the villas and tallhouses of the very wealthy, conferring with them on-premises, and then retiring back to his home workshop (Room 3 of his household) to work. Master Sentimalier is always in the very height of fashion; indeed, the times that he looks odd or out of place are always because he is making an artistic statement that is all but guaranteed to become next season's hottest look. Master Sentimalier does not restrict himself to men's fashions, either; he frequently goes out to events where other saece (the term for those who pursue the art of appearing in another gender's expression) gather to perform and keep convivial company. The central household is unoccupied. Generally unsurprising, given its dearth of windows, though quite a few folk have been nosing about looking through the place lately. The southern household is held by Magistrate Thunlistaer Aurenda (LN white dragonborn noble), the only dragonborn known to hold office as a Waterdhavian magistrate. She is quite striking, with her ice-white scales and her black robes, and tends to keep to herself quite a bit. She lives with a housekeeper and cook, Maurenna Sweettipple (N halfling commoner).
