Always wares the Highwall signet ring on his right pinky finger. He is not one for the latest fashion and typically wears what is practical and comfortable, generally choosing dark colors over bright ones.

Personal history

Born to a low noble family the Hornraven's, Landar has spent most of his young years learning the skills which will later help when he takes his father's position as Lord Baron. when he was younger Landar and his sister would frequently play in the gardens of his father's manor and he was known for pulling pranks on the servants of the house. As he grew Landar started training with the Captain of the Guards, and studying different cultures with the Custodial Librarian. During this time his sister fell ill contracting the Wheezing Cough. Being bed ridden Landar visited his sister every day after practice to read her favorite stories, and talk about his days events. After several weeks she became worse, and Landar developed a cough as well, eventually turning into Wheezing Cough. Being bedridden Landar began to play chess, and cards developing a keen skill in strategy. Days after being bedridden Landar's sister was overcome by the Wheezing Cough and eventually laid to rest in the Manor's family crypt. Her Death brought about a change in Landar, and he began to search for reasons why. When he was well enough Landar resumed his practice, and focused on his studies. When the time came he was able to attend the College in Corseana, studding all manor of topics, from magical theory, to history of religion where he met his professor Florn Maggen who eventually became a close friend of the family and a trusted advisor. 7 years after Landar completed his studies, his father grew ill, just as his sister had, and became bedridden for 4 months until passing in 1352 AR. After the coronation of Landar Hornraven, Landar began to enact changes throughout the territory establishing paved roads and sewers in some villages, and beginning The Harvest Festival, which has grown to include a menagerie and several merchant trains on the first day of each harvest.

Landar is deeply in love with Zela his wife, and wishes only to be with her.

Education

Educated in the College of Corseana as a young adult. Trained with the Captain of the Guards of Highwall in sword play, defensive strategies, offensive strategies, and advanced military tactics. Well educated and versed in several racial languages and books.

Accomplishments & Achievements

His sisters death has proven to be difficult to overcome, yet through it he found the strength and morality to govern people in a just and fair way. Landar has done much for the Barony of Highwall, helping to provide paved roads and sewers for some villages, and promising to help pave and create sewers for those still in need. Establishing The Harvest Festival each year for the first day of harvest and brining in a menagerie, and several merchant trains to increase trade and barter in Highwall. Because of this Highwall's population has increased and soon will expand beyond the walls for which the town is known for.

Mental Trauma

When he was younger Landar contracted Wheezing cough nearly killing him and keeping him bed ridden for several weeks. Wheezing Cough eventually took his sister at an early age whom he was close to.
