Defences
In times of Defense most villagers will move to the safety of Highwall itself. The Village is policed by a sheriff and 4 town guards and can call up the local militia, about 50 men.
Industry & Trade
Most villagers work their fields producing wheat grain or tobacco. There are several sheep farms in the area to help produce wool. Bren is self-supporting and contributes to the Barron each year. Merchant Trains do not visit Bren so most villagers must travel to Highwall to buy any exotic goods.
Infrastructure
Bren has a few dirt roads leading into and out of town and is not located on any major highway. Drinking Well, Blacksmith, Council Hall (local Inn), and a grainery help support Bren and its population.
