Nionevrith

First there was darkness, and from the darkness a strong force awoke. Binding and pulling newly formed elements into a swirling chaotic mesh of color, energy, and matter. From this beginning magic stirred amongst the elements breathing matter and energy to form Nionevrith. Those initial seasons, where the sun first Rose and fell, and the two moons Candar and Jurin fought their way across the stars, saw great torrents and shifting of Earth. Features formed across the crust, unfamiliar to what we know today, changing and shaping over many seasons. Breaking mountains into small hills and vast plains into endless mountain ranges. Forest lush with green and life fell to the ever changing force drying up the water and scattering it's dust into trackless sands.   Among all this as the world molding slowed, and what we know now came to be, this grand city of Shala' Mar rose from the chaos of the forming, built by the Fey; ruled only by the High Elves. What great wonders they discovered from magic, and intellect, making Shala' Mar first among many. Desperate to keep there secrets from the other races, they created their Dragonborn and Tieflings from dark magic, an army to rise against those who would seek to steal their knowledge and make them equal to the High Elves.   Their dark pact instilled the maddnes into their minds, and as the war raged on they sought to strike a final blow to the others. Their dark alliance complete they pulled their magic together linking all they could find. It is said that on that day looking toward Shala' Mar was like gazing into the Sun. In that moment the High Elves almost but vanished and in their place rose Mal' Chin a Black Maddnes. A mist of death haunting the city forever.
