Geography
The Averoigne River flows Northeast from the upper most Barony of Highwall to the lower Southwest of the Barony. Passing the East Wood and Shala' Mar Hills and crossing the Merchant Road and The Kings Highway, then flowing into the swampy region known as The Bog. Ranging 2 miles wide in most places to 1/2 mile at its closest, flowing almost 200 miles in length and stretching beyond the borders of the Barony.
Fauna & Flora
Several species of fish and fresh water crab live in the flowing river of the Averoigne. Amongst the reeds of its banks bask many of Highwalls water foul, from ducks to majestic Crain. Alligators patrol the banks and swim up from the area know as The Bog.
Natural Resources
Fish and fresh water crab are gathered from the waters of the Averoigne River. Duck and other foul are hunted for their feathers and meat. Mud from the banks of the Averoigne is used in making tile and other bricks.
