Males typically take the last name of the father and when couples marry the last name of the male is taken by the females. Some families usually carry the first name of the father on to the son and create a long lineage of naming traditions.

Humans can be found in most major organizations across the world, including almost all the kingdoms and places where civilizations have thrived.

Beauty Ideals

Most male Humans look for subtle soft features in their females, and can cover a plethora of skin color to physical features. Female tend to lean toward emotional connections and strong features in their male counter parts, looking for those who can provide for a possible family.

Gender Ideals

Most humans tend to relate toward the gender they were born with, with a few exceptions the come about from time to time. These individuals can be treated harshly and it depends on the community with which they were raised as to how others will respond to them.

Courtship Ideals

It is fairly common for the males to court the females during a long period of time, generally several years or more. This process involves arranged meetings of the family to invites for a local dance or ball. Each courtship is different and some cultures have arranged marriages in which neither party knows the other. Humans are a varied lot and each culture will have their rules and unspoken rituals regarding what is acceptable in the courtship.

Most humans view marriage and courtship as a permanent and holy bond between each other. Some cultures encourage love to blossom, where as others arrange the marriage and expect love to come later. Either way relationships are seen as something to lead to a life long bond between the two.

Many human cultures view friendship as an act of trust and loyalty and expect their friends to help in times of need. Humans are varied and friendship can be different between two cultures and even regions, as different traditions form and ideas as to how one relates to others.

Humans have used technologies borrowed from other races and adapted them into their own cultures. They can be quizzical and experiment with ideas developing something completely different that the original item.

Humans have a short and varied history compared to other races, only coming into existence as one of the last races to form. Humans can be found involved in the aspects of the other races instigating trade, war, and learning magical secrets found in the other races. Humans survived the Reckoning better then most races and as a result have become one of the most dominant races throughout the world.

Each culture has its own set of myths and legends and some follow a similar theme even using the same name as the legend or myth.
