Geography

East Wood is a dense Forest consisting of mainly pine and oak trees. Low brush and in some places think thorn undergrowth, make traveling difficult. Small animal trails litter the forest. The forest is helped by Highwall's wet weather, providing ample moisture for the tress and undergrowth. Several small ponds dot the forest and have become watering holes for the local fauna. The East Wood begins in the far east regions of Highwall Barony to the Averoigne River, bordered just North of the Shala' Mar Hills.

Fauna & Flora

The East Wood is inhabited by all varieties of deer and some elk. Brown bears can be seen during the spring and summer months. Squals, opossums, rabits, mockingbirds, are just some of the smaller animals that live here. East Wood is a good source for lumber, and once stretched across Highwall. Dirtroot and wild sapper are 2 of the most common herbs found here used to create several different local ointment and healing recipes.

Natural Resources

Oak and pine for lumber, animal hide used for tanning leather, Dirtroot and Wild Sapper are collected by the locals.
