The Idea Factory
The Idea Factory, located in the Towers of Thul district, was once considered a holy site for the followers of the old god Gond. Some "Gondsmen" still work and venerate there daily, for the vast majority of scholars and inventors that frequent the Factory however the old gods have went out of style, even more so than the rest of the realm. The Idea Factory is a place where like-minded individuals can assemble to share theories and musings, where creativity and inspiration can be explored without fear, without limit and it is a place where the word "crazy" does not exist. It is a vast laboratory containing every and all manner of testing apparatuses and compounds, samples and solvents, data and findings. All kinds of people can be found there, from the lowliest peasant to the haughtiest noble, from the paladin to the assassin, if that person has an idea that they want to bear to fruition they are welcomed with eager stares and insightful questions. No one man rules the Idea Factory but the most learned ones, who spend their days and their nights in the place, are the de facto caretakers. Many inventions in the kingdom today began as echoes in the halls of the Factory: guns and blackpowder, a great many alchemical items and weapons, even a non magical flying ship .
