The Academy of Mysteries
The Academy of Mysteries is an unadorned heavily guarded multi storied complex warded with powerful spells that houses the Seekers.
Purpose / Function
This is the base of operations of the Seekers, they are an organization that works in conjunction with the Judges to aid them with divination spells from a distance. They use the multiple scrolls, magical items and divining implements within the Academy to scry, divine, detect, locate, and discern any important information for the Judges who are on duty somewhere out in the kingdom. They dispatch Judges to troubled areas as well, there are giant maps and markers strewn about tables and walls, each Seeker keeping track of his Judges.
This is also where the new laws are verified and stored. After arriving by crow or pigeon at the Throne of Stars aviary, scribes will bring the scrolls containing the new laws (that were penned and sealed by Judges on duty out in the realm) to the Academy of Mysteries so they can be authenticated and recorded.
