For some, the towering peaks of the Redcrest Mountains are not just a resource to exploit but a refuge from the bustling rhythm of urban life. Perched atop a jagged rock formation, there is a house that serves as the residence of a mysterious figure known only as the Oracle.
The journey to Oracle's Perch is a treacherous one, winding through rugged terrain with a series of gruelling, challenging climbs at high altitudes. Even after all of that, the passageway to the house is perilously narrow and broken in places, many have said to fail at this last hurdle and plummet into the ravines below. Only the most determined seekers are said to meet with the Oracle and share their wisdom, knowledge and insights into the inner workings of the universe.
Numerous stories and legends exist around the Oracle and this land, some believe there is no oracle and this is just a children's story to be forgotten. Others proclaim to have seen the Oracle and had their lives forever changed by their insight, while plenty have set off on the expedition to never be seen again. A definite air of mystery and mystique surrounds this character and their abilities, they remain a scary bed time story for the generations of children to come.
