Kingdom of Dale

Dale is a City State that sits on the RIVER RUNNING just outside of Erebor. Dale enters into brisk trade with the @DWARVES OF EREBOR, and provide them with food, and access to distant markets through its merchants and @FAIRS OF DALE . Dale was re-founded in 3941 T.A. following the death of Smaug, The Magnificent, who was killed by BARD a member of the watch in Laketown. Bard would become the leader of those left homeless in Smaug's final acts of destruction at Laketown. He led these Men in first their quest to get some of the Treasure from Erebor, and subsequently in The Battle of Five Armies. Afterwards he was proclaimed King of Dale, and led them in re-occupying the abandoned City of Dale. In these few short years he has re-established Dale with all the old trade of Laketown, and the new produced by the return of the Dwarves to the LONELY MOUNTAIN . Peace and prosperity have returned to the lands surrounding Erebor.
