My first endeavor in DM'ing in Middle Earth. Using the Adventures in Middle Earth system.   The first adventures at least will be in the time frame that the system suggests: Between the reclamation of the Kingdom under the Mountain, and the Great War.   Once familiar with the materials I may venture into earlier ages.   My goal here at WA is to provide a single source for my players to find needed info about ME and about our campaign.   Middle Earth is a world of great and majestic landmarks. Strong, kind, and cruel peoples. It is a world where the roots of life run deep to the very dawn of time itself, and yet still ages later still sets us at what is easily the beginning of the world. It is into this world with its great mythos and history that I will let my players nibble at the edges and dip their toes in the ocean of great tales that arose from this land.   My players will find themselves able to take on small tasks in Middle Earth, but also take part in the great arc of time that is the War of the Rings. Will they be found with the heroes when the victory parade ascends Minas Tirith, or will they have been broken and fled into the grey vastness of the West or South?   While they will not be direct companions of the great heroes recorded in Samwise history, they may find themselves crossing their paths, or aiding them in some secondary quest that is still important in the great cause. They will be like Radagast and Beorn, characters that were not central to Samwise's tale, but that also helped save Middle Earth from Sauron.
