Bard of Dale
Bard was a descendant of those that had fled from Dale, namely a descendant of Dales last King GIRION . From him he had received a single ancient black arrow which he used to kill Smaug, The Magnificent, and the wisdom and courage to lead his people. First he lead them in their defense against Smaug, and then into the conflict with the DWARVES OF EREBOR and the Orcs that attacked. He was the dominant leader in The Battle of Five Armies, and afterwards was recognized as King of Dale.
Today he rules the Kingdom of Dale as a noble King helping to expand peace and prosperity to all in Erebor.
