“Ya don’t want ta go out there, ser,” said the beaten up bot, their haphazardly put together joints creaking as they adjust a few gears in the massive digging machine. The shrieking grind of the machine’s motor as it was started up the next second grated against their ears. They winced, but the old bot seemed unfazed—indeed, they doubted the sound had even the ability to register in the bot’s sensors.
“Why not?” they asked, shifting their feet, cocking their hip. The bangles in their hair clattered together, a pleasing clip, clip, clip whenever they tilted their head.
“Well, ser,” rasped the bot, “that there is No Man’s Land, if ya don’t mind the cliche. Ah ain’t ever seen a Neo Terran go out there an’ come back...least not in one piece.”
The “Surrounding Asteroid Cluster” that make up most, if not all, of the border around Alpha Avior System. Made of systems littered with multiple, natural asteroid belts and rings originally, the size of its walls have grown since the colonization began there. The robotic laborers that originally began to terraform the surrounding planets for the various factions arranged the left over material to provide an even larger border against outside space for the Alpha Avior System. This place is a maze, cutting off transmitter signals within a set radius of it.
The Surro Aster Cluster is formed of natural rock and boulder, gas giants, and heavy metal scraps melted together by the bots when the material could no longer be reused. While there are some rare materials, gems, and even some rare, life-giving planets found among the systems, the chances of actually finding them without becoming lost are slim, unless a map of someone already within the region is provided. Recent rumor has it that the newly popular Transpicuous Crystal found everywhere on Diadem could also be found here, but whether the rumors are true are left to be determined.
