Charon System

The Charon System is surrounded by asteroid belts and artificial fields of melted together metals left over from Labor Bots, with a Blue Giant glowing brightly in the middle. It has three planets, with three moons spinning furiously around it's most violent planet, and a high metal yield on the third planet's moon.

Geography

Charon A: Blue Giant

Class WO, Non-scoopable.

Charon A-1: Methane Planet

This planet is cold, with methane flowing like water throughout it's surface. Whatever life exists here is unusual and rare to find. It is nicknamed after the Styx river, supposedly for its ghost stories of ships disappearing near its atmosphere.

Charon A-2: Stormy Planet

So far, no ship has come back from Charon A-2. The violent storms on this planet consume any who try, pelting them with debris of what might have been a very pleasant world millions of years ago. Charon A-2 has a quick rotation, pulling its moons with it.
  • Charon A-2 a: This moon is more of a misshapen asteroid than a proper moon. There is no life here, but it somehow got caught in the orbit of this planet. It is slowly disintegrating, and pieces of it are falling into the storms of Charon A-2.
  • Charon A-2 b: Another rock high in metal, mining this planetoid is supremely difficult because of it's fast orbit around Charon A-2. There is no permanent mining base here.
  • Charon A-2 c: A moon whose crystal surface shines bright blue in the light of the system's giant star as it hurtles around it's planet. It burns anything coming into its atmosphere, including ships that manage to land.

Charon A-3: Ammonia Planet

While it's possible for people to land on this planet, for it seems calm and can be rather beautiful with it's clear, pearl-white seas and ice, it is impossible to breath here without a proper suit or completely artificial lungs.
  • Charon A-3 a: A lifeless rock, with a high metal content that can be mined.
