History
In June of 1427, goblin forces under the command of Ovrul Rend attacked the town and burned down the tavern, the miner's guild headquarters, and the blacksmith. The local guard troop of guards was quickly overwhelmed, but a group of adventurers was eventually able to fight them off.
For more information on the fight between the adventurers and the forces of Ovrul Rend, see Session 16 and Session 17 reports.
Tourism
A large portion of the people that pass through the town are members of the miner's guild or freelance miners. They often stop in to the blacksmith or the general goods store before making their way upriver. Separately, fair amounts of adventurers or sellswords pass through as well, often on their way either to or from The Spine.
Geography
Bellhollow sits on the mouth of the Halinora Creek where it drains into the Misty Lake. The Brimland Woods continue to its north in and The Spine lays to the east. The terrain headed eastward gradually becomes more elevated, and there are a number of hills nearby that overlook the town and the lake.
