Bellton Castle

Bellton Castle was built as a primary point of defense in eastern Paglary Province during the War of Assassins between The Tuvocan Empire and Asmaton in the year 931 of The Aura Age. Today it serves as a seat of power for local magistrates and as a landmark for visitors.

Purpose / Function

Bellton Castle was built to stand as a bulwark against the armies of Asmaton as well as bring stability to the region and provide a rallying point for Tuvocan forces in the area. Over the years, as the power of the empire continued to grow and then eventually began to wane, the castle has become a symbol of a bygone era of Tuvocan power. Now days, the local magistrate generally makes the castle his home and the local garrison usually only keeps a token force actually in the keep itself; most of the soldiers live in town.
