Wolfwater
Wolfwater is a town located on the banks of the Baintham River in Keodal District of The Tuvocan Empire. In its early years it acted as a bulwark against orc and goblin aggression, and later served as a major line of defense during the War of Assassins between the Tuvocan Empire and Asmaton. Today, it is a farming and logging town.
Defences
Bellton Castle is located on the western end of the mesa which houses several dozen soldiers. The keep was built early in the history of the region prior to the establishment of the town, which really grew out of nearby support infrastructure. It is an older style design of castle, with squared off towers, as opposed to the more modern rounded towers.
Industry & Trade
The town is primarily a farming town, but it also a major lumber town. Lumber is gathered from the nearby Keelram Woods, and is then shipped downriver to the town of Duskfalls for processing on onward shipping.
Infrastructure
Watermills dot the riverbank and mill the grain that is grown nearby. The flour is then used by the bakeries in town. Meanwhile, there are several blacksmiths and bowyers in town. The town also boasts one of the largest temples in the eastern part of the Empire.
Architecture
Most of the buildings are constructed from the heavy oak cut from the nearby Keelram Wilds. Other buildings are made from birch wood or even pine, also harvested from the same forest. Few buildings in town, including the keep, the forge, and a few others, are built from stone which was imported from quarries out west.
Geography
Wolfwater sits atop the River Rock Mesa on the northern (right) bank of the Baintham River. It is the southern most town in Keodal District, with the Keelram Wilds located to the north.
Natural Resources
Various types of wood comes from the Keelram Wilds to the north of the town. Oak, birch, pine, and other wood is regularly harvested and shipped downstream.
