Hollow Mountain

“If you are faced with a mountain, you have several options. You can climb it and cross to the other side. You can go around it. You can dig under it. You can fly over it. You can blow it up. You can ignore it and pretend it’s not there. You can turn around and go back the way you came. Or you can stay on the mountain and make it your home.”   -Rangarn Hammersmith
The Hollow Mountain was a Dwarven city located in The Spine mountain range. It served as the primary seat of power for the Hammersmith Clan for over 700 years. The city was famed for its wealth of gold, jewels, and mechanical oddities.   In 1357, a host of goblins invaded and sacked the Dwarven home, scattering the survivors all over the neighboring kingdoms. Since then, goblins have moved in and have turned the once bustling Dwarven home into a logistics hub and manufacturing center for their weapons of war. A recent cave in of the second floor has disrupted supply lines going to and from the mountain.
