The Party encounters a shadowy, influential figure as they prepare to depart for Hollow Mountain...

The Party returned to Bellhollow and The Demon Didgeridoo Inn. The inn was completely empty and dark as they entered. Empty, except for Parker Adams. Parker explained that he'd been watching the group for sometime, and that he was a member of The Sovereign's Shadow. He told the Party that they were going to provide him with information via raven, otherwise their arrest was certain. Parker told The Party that the hobgoblin that they watched Liam Carr meet with was none other than Ovrul Rend, the commander for the hobgoblin forces in the area.   At the conclusion of their meeting, the group went to the Miner's Guild building and turned in the Kobold heads for their reward. As the Guild's property had already been returned by the other party, they received no reward for it. Elmer Reykian and Sylvar Heigolor reported that they did not know where the other party came from or where they went to.    The Party decided to spend a few hours in Bellhollow and took the opportunity to visit the general store, The Lazy Cart. There Bloodbane purchased a fine green hat with a quill in it, as well as a Satchel of Borrowing, which he won through a game of Goblin Dice. Upon inquiring about weapons, they were directed by the shop owner, Reginald Underburrow to Cold Silver, the local blacksmith next door.   Bloodbane and Typhon walked over to Cold Silver where they met the blacksmith, Mathoe Bundy. The group was unimpressed with the filthy nature of the shop and the somewhat untrustworthy mannerisms of Mathoe. The group left, disappointed by his selection.     The pair returned to The Demon Didgeridoo Inn to chat with Thurgramm Hammersmith. Thurgramm told the group about the path to the Hollow Mountain, and how it was unknown what, if anything, lurks in the ruined city. Thurgram provided them with a set of runes that would open a hidden door to a vault on the second level, and further suggested that they acquire rations and torches before their journey.   As the group prepared to depart Bellhollow, they had one final chat with Thurgramm Hammersmith, who reiterated his instructions on the location of the vault within Hollow Mountain: Second level; Room all the way on the right; Secret door. The Party decided to prepare for their journey by acquiring additional supplies. They stopped at the Miner's Guild to see if they could acquire any horses, and the guild agreed on the condition that The Party survey the area to and from the mountain, given their difficulty in getting out to those parts. Their business in Bellhollow concluded, The Party mounted their horses and made for the east.
