Battle of Ilserock

The Battle of Ilserock was fought when Duke Herkemer Von HughGraven and forces from Trinsk moved against Baron Lothar Von HughGraven at the castle of Ilserock in Vicksburg.

The Conflict

Battlefield

The battle took place outside, and within the walls of Ilserock.

Outcome

The massive slaughter of that day attracted a pair of pilgrims devoted to Empterion; an assassin by the name of Istvan Niculescu and a priestess named Talia Nebacchus.

Aftermath

During the battle both Herkemer and Lothar fell, leaving the Dukedom of Trinsk up for grabs between Tarquin Von HughGraven and Manfred Von HughGraven. It was eventually assumed by Manfred after a meeting with Tarquin and the Volinskian High Court at the Phestiana.

Conflict Result

The Baron's forces were victorious in defense, but both the Baron and the Duke were killed.
