Vicksburg
The small town is the seat of the Barony of Trinsk and the location of Ilserock, the castle of Baron Thomas Von HughGraven.
Vicksburg is dangerous place, with its inhabitants locking their doors tightly against the various evils that plague the nights of Volinsk. Since the former Baron Lothar Von HughGraven turned to vampirism, the town has seen a drastic reduction in its population and only a small handful still remain to eke out a hard life.
One such place is The Adders Fang, a tavern/Inn that still operates to serve a hot meal and shelter visitors from the things that go bump in the night.
Since ascending to Baron, Thomas Von HughGraven has seized on the vacant buildings in Vicksburg and used his stature and charisma to amass a small colony of artists and performers.
Vicksburg and Ilserock serve as the most southern populations and fortifications in Volinsk. The Castle stands as an important frontier defense and protects several areas of economic importance in the Duchy of Trinsk: the village of Volshburg; the Richter Estates and Vinyards; the Boelke Estate and Vinyards; the Engenvass Swamp; and the Veins of Wilhelm, a copper and silver mine.
To the south and west of Vicksburg is the small settlement of Volshburg in the hills south and west of Trinsk. Due west of Vicksburg. Known for the Richter Estates and Vineyards (Battis has the deed, traded to Grak for the Deed to the Boelke Estate)
South of Volshberg, closer to the Engenvass is the Bolelcke Manor and Vineyard, that was run by Oswald Bolke, who served Manfred well. Currently the Deed to the Bolelcke Estate is held by Battis Hedgecrook.
Boelcke Manor was the family estate of the Boelcke Family; vassals, servants, and loyalists to the Von HughGraven's of Trinsk and Vicksburg before the recent end of their family line. The estate grounds contain the manor house, stables, a cemetery, pet cemetery, and a large barn to accommodate its vineyard operation. The land itself, cultivated for grapes has been largely unused for the past couple of years and has fallen to seed.
