Personal history
Antheos was born in the Serbaith village of Roana in the Dragon's Ridge in 1197 CE. Growing up, he was the best friend and hunting partner of Zairah. From a very young age, both their fathers took them hunting together, and after Zairah shot her first large piece of game and was accepted into the hunter's guild with her First Stag Celebration, the two of them often went hunting by themselves. Over the years, Antheos fell in love with Zairah, but when he finally told her about it, she rejected him.
When their home was destroyed in 1213 CE, the two of them survived because they were out hunting at the time. They then decided to go to Lathear, the largest city in the country of Baitha, to warn the people about the suspected attack on the country. As a resistance, they founded the Dragons. When Iohan's attack happened in 1214 CE, the Dragons tried to fight back and hold Lathear, but they were not able to against Iohan's organized and highly trained forces.
Up to this point, Antheos had been doing anything to help Zairah in order to make her fall for him, but during the battle, he realized that she'd never love him no matter what. It was because of this realization that, after he and Zairah were captured, he made the decision to leave his old life behind and join Iohan's forces instead. In the years following this event, Antheos became part of the urtheonian army and was stationed at Castle Soanis, partly as an insider for any questions about Baitha, partly as a way to make sure he didn't change sides again. While Zairah was a captive in the castle and being abused, to no small part by Antheos, he slowly advanced through the ranks of the army.
After Zairah escaped Soane, Antheos, Milnor and another soldier were sent to follow her, and after Antheos made the assumption that Zairah would likely be on her way back to Baitha, so they went east in pursuit. They searched in all of Urtheon for roughly a month, they reached the edge of Leas Dimeathris, where Milnor and the soldier chose to return to Soane, but Antheos, suspecting Zairah to be in the Dark Forest, kept going, since he wasn't going to go back to Iohan empty-handed.
He indeed found Zairah, in the company of three people he didn't know, and chose to follow them to find out who they were and what they planned. He was just as surprised as Zairah and her companions, when they were intercepted by a few of the Dragons and led to a forest hut. While the three were invited in and explained their plan, Antheos listened at the door. He soon realized that these people knew Iohan's entire plans. When Zairah mentioned him and told the others to not tell him anything about anything, he, rather rashly, walked in on them to tell them he knew everything. He had planned to then walk out and make a quick exit, but he never got the chance before Zairah unleashed her bottled up anger on him and killed him with her bare fist.
