5th Legion
"I like fighting the 5th Legion. They're downright predictable. Unfortunately that will ultimately mean that I get to tell the peace faction that I warned them."
~Margrave Arronax Skinner, Elector of Cambreath
Structure
The 5th is the last of the classic Hobgoblin Legions, and the last to follow the original organizational structure with no alterations. It is the largest legion, appealing to the inherent Hobgoblin suspicion of change and drawing on deep roots for recruiting auxiliaries.
Culture
The 5th does not believe in change. They see innovation as heretical and view their ways as the only true possible way. They blame the deviants of the other legions for the failures of the Goblin Wars.
Public Agenda
The 5th's goal is to purge the other legions and force them into conformity, and then to lead them to conquer Seaudyr and ultimately the world in the way proscribed in the 500s.
