Isle of Rohn

The Isle of Rohn is a small, rocky island located off the western coast of Mar Mabon, marking the southern entrance to the treacherous Straits of Charthol.   Facing the endless expanse of the Gamanaean Ocean, the island is renowned for its towering cliffs and violent seas, which have claimed many unwary sailors over the centuries. The most famous of these was Valran I of Teros, who met his end here in 1964 after being shipwrecked during a storm.   The Isle of Rohn is also infamous for the flocks of Thrasse that nest on its cliffs. These vicious, winged predators are known to attack anything that ventures too close, adding to the island’s fearsome reputation. Remote and perilous, the Isle of Rohn remains largely unexplored, its rugged cliffs and dangerous wildlife deterring all but the most daring adventurers.
