Badrazar Hills

The Badrazar Hills lie in the far southwest of Mar Mabon, a rugged, sun-scorched region where scrubland stretches across rolling hills. This arid landscape is known for its sparse vegetation and dry river valleys, where water is a rare and precious resource. Despite its harshness, life clings to the Badrazar Hills, and the few fertile pockets near the rivers sustain hardy plant life and small animal populations.   The region's most dangerous inhabitants include the Giant Scorpions that lurk in the rocky crevices, their venomous stingers a constant threat to any who stray too close. Lirketh serpents, with their enormous coiled bodies, haunt the slopes, silently hunting in the dry riverbeds. The cliffs and high crags serve as nesting grounds for Moggrin packs, winged predators that descend on their prey in coordinated, lethal strikes.   While the hills are mostly wild and uninhabited, nomadic tribes occasionally pass through the more fertile valleys, seeking temporary refuge from the harsher deserts nearby. The constant winds carry the scent of dry earth and dust, and the sharp outcroppings of rock cast long shadows over the scrubland. Even for those familiar with the region, the Badrazar Hills remain unpredictable, where both terrain and wildlife can turn deadly in an instant.
