Varshin Islands
The Varshin Islands lie just off the eastern coast of Mar Mabon, beyond the jagged cliffs of the Shidar Highlands.
This archipelago of small, rocky isles is renowned for its towering sea cliffs, which plunge dramatically into the waters of the Sarran Sea. The rugged terrain of the islands is largely uninhabitable, with only sparse vegetation clinging to life on the windswept rocks. What the islands lack in human presence, however, they make up for in wildlife, particularly in the vast numbers of sea birds that nest in the cliffs. Flocks of gulls, Karnosh, and other coastal birds dominate the skies above the islands, their cries filling the air as they circle the steep, craggy shores in search of food.
The Varshin Islands, though remote and wild, are a striking example of nature's raw beauty, drawing the occasional adventurous traveler or scholar with an interest in the diverse bird species that inhabit the archipelago.
