Straits of Charthol

The Straits of Charthol are a dangerous sea passage between Mar Miskun and Mar Mabon. A number of islands stand in the strait, with towering cliffs of red stone.
Opposing currents here make the straits notoriously dangerous, as waters from the Sea of Fair Winds meet the wider Gamanaean Ocean. In addition to the challenging seas, the Straits are home to a number of predatory creatures, such as Thrasse, that make passage even more hazardous.
At the southern end of the strait lie the Isle of Rohn and Isle of Sorrows. At the strait's northern exit sits the town of Curmon.
