Umbrage Hill
Umbrage Hill is south of Phandalin in the foothills of the Sword Mountains, easily accessible on the Phandalin Miners' Trail.
Adabra Gwynn owns and operates Adabra's Potion Shop on the first floor of a windmill built into the northern slope of Umbrage Hill. Next to the windmill are the ruins of an old stone building, and only a fireplace is left standing.
On Day 15 of the campaign (28 Tarsakh), Collateral Damage plus Mosk visited Umbrage Hill and purchased items at Adabra's Potion Shop before going to Wave Echo Cave.
On Day 17 (30 Tarsakh), Collateral Damage returned to Umbrage Hill, this time with Nundro Rockseeker and new member Tubby after clearing out Wave Echo Cave. The group made several transactions at Adabra's Potion Shop.
Later that day, the Phandalin Town Guard asked Collateral Damage for their help saving Adabra and guard Gunter from a group of manticores attacking the shop at Umbrage Hill. Six guards on horseback arrived first and tried to save Adabra and Gunter, who were barricaded inside the shop. All six died in battle. When Collateral Damage arrived, six guards on foot, including Heinrich, were taking cover behind two trees. The group defeated the manticores, and several of the guards fell unconscious, but no additional guards died. Adabra then gave Collateral Damage her one remaining greater potion of healing to thank them for saving her.
After defeating the manticores, Collateral Damage stayed at Umbrage Hill. They first went searching for the horses lost by the guards, and they found three. They also harvested several things from the manticores, including:
- Teeth (Tubby)
- Spikes and meat (Shinzon)
- Head, pelt and wings (Herb)
- Testicles (Herb)
Herb, wearing the head, pelt and wings and riding one of the horses, cast thaumaturgy to cause tremors and thunder. He then, with a voice three times louder than his normal voice, exclaimed "I like my new manticore outfit!"
