Grappo Family
The Grappo family is a tiny guild-family in Ossa. Its most prominent members are Adriana Grappo, who was considered a colossus of Ossan politics, and her brother Tadeas Grappo, who retired from his Assembly seat but continued his career in the Ossan Foreign Legion as a major. After Adriana's death, her son Demir Grappo became family patriarch. The Grappo silic sigil is the silic symbol for witglass, which an upside-down triangle with cracked lightning spreading from its center, usually depicted in purple. Their employees wear purple client paint on the left-hand pinkie nails and some wear purple livery.
The Grappo used to be one of the most powerful guild-families in Ossa, generations ago. Before Demir's return to politics, the Hyacinth Hotel was the last vestige of that wealth and influence. To uphold the sense of hospitality in their Hyacinth Hotel, the Grappo are usually discreet in their use of guild enforcers, though the Dorlani attack on the hotel prompted them to add more security.
