Assembly
The Assembly is the Ossan Empire's governing body, with its politicians coming from many of the prominent guild-families. Senior members of the guild-families often rise to positions of power in the Assembly, with the Inner Assembly seats being reserved for the heads of the most important guild-families.
The government building they meet in at Assembly Square is also called the Assembly.
STORY
After Adriana Grappo's public murder, the Assembly covered up the real story of her death by blaming agents of the Duchy of Grent. They then mobilized the Ossan military, declaring war on Grent, citing that her death was simply the last straw in a series of offences by the Duke of Grent. They also ordered the Cinders to confiscate Adriana's personal papers for their investigation into her death. Later during the war, the Assembly fails to outbid Grent in negotiations for Kerite's Drakes, forcing them to turn to Demir Grappo to lead the Ossan Foreign Legion.
