Duke of Grent
The Duke of Grent is the leader of the Duchy of Grent. He has a brother named Favian Grent, who is a member of the Glass Knife. His family lives in the Ducal Palace of Grent.
STORY
According to Capric Vorcien, the Duke of Grent had been meddling in Ossan affairs for decades, growing increasingly bold in his covert acts to increase his own power. For example, he stole trade contracts, bribed Ossan magistrates, and even had Ossan officers assassinated. The Assembly blames the Duke for Adriana Grappo's murder and use it as an excuse to launch a military campaign against Grent. However, when Kissandra Vorcien investigates Adriana's death, she discovers that Favian Grent, the Duke's brother, is a member of the Glass Knife, the group responsible for murdering Adriana. When the war starts, the Duke sends his family to the Glass Isles for safety.
The Duke has an extensive art collection, which includes an exquisite specimen of cinderite. Needing the cinderite for Demir's phoenix channel, Idrian Sepulki sneaks into the Ducal Palace of Grent to steal it, finding a vast array of goblets in the collection as well.
