Iritífe Mountains

The Iritífe Mountains1 are one of two mountain ranges in Karatvánamb Forest in eastern Túlmikkía, the other being Hík Mountains to the north.
Most of the region is home to Tederans, with the central and most of the southern parts ruled by the Fúmrá Alliance and form the traditional territories of the alliance's dominant tribe, the Fúmi, and the Jarúmbans, while the northern is inhabited by independent tederans. Vevúni communities are found in the southernmost valleys.
The most notable settlement in the Iritífe Mountains is Tanání, capital of the Fúmrá Alliance.

Geography

The Iritífe Mountains are generally lower than the Hík Mountains, and the climate there is notably cooler and more humid than the surrounding area, with thunderstorms occurring throughout the wet season and frequent fog during the dry season.

Fauna & Flora

Notable wildlife in the region includes mountain lions, Túlmikkían Bears, bushpigs, indigobirds and various salamanders.
