Abarúnaxa is the main city of Balra, the western county (jú) of Vakúlstó, the eastern quarter (stó) of the empire of Dalra. It's located in the northwestern part of the county, in the eastern foothills of the Zamra Mountains.

The walled acropolis of Abarúnaxa, where the main temples and ceremonial plaza are found, is located on the top of a hill, surrounded by the governor's mansion, market square and other important buildings, which in turn are surrounded by the homes of commoners, shrines and workshops.
Architecture
The city and the surrounding area are the best example of traditional ebþúkan architecture in the empire, characterized by extensive use of black and white stone, circular plazas, rock-cut tombs and highly sophisticated irrigation system.
