Briltíon is a town in eastern Tirkþa, the northern county (jú) of Vakúlstó, eastern quarter (stó) of the empire of Dalra in eastern Emlas.
It's the main settlement of the county's hinterland and home to the Jorps, the largest of numerous tribes that inhabit the region, as well as the oracle of Húflóas, whom many make pilgrimage to every year from all corners of the empire. Once the capital of an early iron age kingdom ruled by the jorps, Briltíon declined after an invasion by nomadic Nalóxans and has remained little more than a town ever since.
The town is famed for its blacksmiths and especially sculptors, the latter whom specialize in carving spheres of all sizes from different kinds of stone, which can be seen throughout Briltíon, both as apotropaic devices outside homes and within sanctuaries.

Architecture
Briltíon's architecture is a mixture of traditional style, reminiscent of rural pakran structures found near Móþon Lake in Laxilþía to the east on one hand, and other styles used by the different cultures that ruled over the jorps over the centuries -most recently Dalrans- on the other.
The floors and lower walls of the temples, particularly that of Húflóas, are adorned with mosaics and low-reliefs showing intricate knotworks.
