Þem Desert
The Þem Desert1 is located along the southern coast of Túlmikkía, bordering the Gnákan Savanna to the north, Góak Forest to the northeast, Þefat Sea to the south and the Gmeþon Highlands to the west.
It's home of the Kemmans, nomadic hunters and fishermen who also inhabit Góak Forest. They are not native to the region, but were pushed there as the Vevúni expanded throughout the western Gnákan Savanna.

Geography
The Þem Desert interior is one of the most inhospitable places in Gætíus' World, characterized by short, cool summers and long, frigid winters, though snowfall is relatively rare there due to the dry air. The coastal region, while even colder and more humid, experiences less fluctuations in temperature throughout the year, which makes it somewhat more inhabitable combined with the greater access to food found by and under the sea.
Fauna & Flora
Most of the wildlife is found along the coastline, including boars, brown hyenas, jackals, seals, walruses, mollusks and several species of birds, crustaceans and rodents. Vegetation is mostly limited to seaweed and hardy grasses.
