Second Battle of Vrexen
The Conflict
Prelude
Once restored to life in the Shadowfell, Arkengrath marched onto Cyorrin, home to Vrexen and where the Necromantic War had ended.
Deployment
With his strength, Arkengrath deployed his armies through portals onto the beachhead. The defending Coalition was making final touch-ups on the defensive plan in the city.
The Engagement
The Coalition relied on an adventuring party to hold Arkengrath back while they handled his army. Both of them engaged on Drithna Bridge where it would lead to the city.
Outcome
Defeated, the Coalition knew that Arkengrath could always return from the grave. In hopes of rendering this dark lord useless, the Tamer was struck with a foul amnesia spell that would cause him to endure every ache and woe he had caused for his pursuit of everlasting life.
Aftermath
Hopeless, the Arkonian Order retreated to the Shadowfell with their manipulated master. To this day, the Order tries to reverse the curse but with little effect.
