Rift Session 3
General Summary
2nd of Early Ardent, 1798
Sailing through the astral plane, the party found the Guilded Vita wrecked on a floating island. There, an encampment was set up outside of an ancient temple. Perusing the encampment, they found a gith bleeding out from his wounds. After some quick healing, he told them that the survivors went inside the temple to see what could be found.
When the party heads inside, they found themselves in a grand hall where six stained windows depict different scenes of Florenelle's creation. The party was halted by two ethereal guardians that would grant access if they answered what the paintings depicted. They managed to guess correctly and have access to a ritual room where a sky blue sigil laid on the floor. A scroll of Dragon's Breath offered a riddle, "To enter the Auran Realm, breathe out the same breath as its creator." The party guessed correctly in breathing out cold onto the sigil, opening a portal to the plane of air back in the hall of stained windows.
Beyond the portal, the party found what remains of the Guilded Vita crew: three gith that were hesitating on whether to open a coffin inside of a grand and elaborate tomb with a dragon skull and wings adorned on top of it. The party sends them back to safety and open it themselves, finding a grand platinum dragon with an enormous slit down its abdomen. Drak, which is this creator, tiredly greeted the "creations" as he called them. They discussed events in Florenelle and that Kordgelle is technically the only creator, as they were all slain long ago.
After a sincere conversation with Drak, the party left him and returned to Kithalfithus. While nearing the island, the party heard Kordgelle scream "Florenelle is not ready yet!" from the tower as a great blast exploded from the top. The roaming illithids then informed the party that Kordgelle was ready to meet with them. Upon arriving, they found the tower being quickly reconstructed after whatever had happened earlier. Regardless, they were given 200 florens as a reward and offered a new task. Their goal was to return Arkengrath to Florenelle for he has found himself in a strange new world known as Eberron. They accepted and headed off to this new world.
They landed in Karrnathi woods, having tricked an undead patrol into heading off. They then headed to Korth where it was having a military parade. With their pet shantak, the party found them in the path of the parade, agitating the guards yet getting them to move forward as to prevent it from being a humiliating matter. With the help of Salazar Kiver, Kordgelle's secret agent to also help aid in returning Arkengrath, they finally met with him among Kaius III and his warlords. Arkengrath insisted that the only peaceful way he would return to Florenelle was to institute a dreadlord as an overlord in his place while away. Erdan Calinneth, an aereni elf, was last seen getting off the Mortis Express in Fort Zombie.
The quickest means of getting there was by lightning rail and Salazar Kiver was willing to cover a portion of the cost for a standard seat on the rail. The party would then take the same Mortis Express and start heading to Fort Zombie. During the trip, the party has met Tolri Kemble, a Brelish mechanic accompanied by Wrench, her warforged, an aereni elf and his guards being denied 1st class seating, a dwarf of the Blood of Vol, a few Arkonians native to Eberron, and a tiefling of the Doctrine Society.
The party left off with finding odd dents within the rail's handle beams. The strangest of all was scratch marks at a lock in a sleeper car.

Stained Windows in the Temple
This painting depicts eleven figures that are stranded in the barren form of the astral plane. No debris or refuse glides across the area as seen today. All of them glance at each other in confusion. One of the figures wears a yellow robe with a few long thorns that protrude from their head. Another is a dragon that bears a platinum hue.
The painting depicts varying figures creating the cosmos that is known today. Familiar pockets within the astral plane are the Shadowfell, Elvarid (the feywilds), and the elemental planes. Surrounding it all in the center, are beams that mix and warble around where Florenelle is placed.
This painting is divided in three sections in a column. On the top is a platinum dragon that breathes out dragons into the sky. In the middle is a tree-like humanoid that sprouts all kinds of foliage where his root-shaped fingers are placed on the ground. On the bottom is a woman with an octopus lower half who blows out and pops bubbles with various fish to roam the seas.
This painting portrays a tree-like creature surrounded by joyous dragons and humanoids. Across from it are an angry platinum dragon and a seething humanoid with floral aesthetics. Next to them are smaller figures in their likeness that flock away from them.
This painting depicts a strange war across the cosmos. Spells, fiery breath, and weapons are used by all sorts of smaller figures to combat larger figures. Lower on the painting are even smaller figures fighting for one of the larger ones. Among the larger figures is a platinum dragon and insect-like figure viciously going after each other. In the center and significantly smaller is a figure in yellow robes with thorns that protrude from their head. Standing alone, the figure in yellow pleads and begs to the larger figures.
This painting depicts a platinum dragon lying dead on the astral ground. Emerging from its torso is a horror with a triangular head that has six eyes. Ghastly appendages reach out to the smaller figures. Above the abomination is a figure in yellow wraps that defeats it. At the bottom of the painting is the figure in yellow that watches over a massive warbling black mass alone. Many disturbing faces and features protrude from the mass, especially that creature with the triangular head.
