Rift Session 2
General Summary
2nd of Early Ardent, 1798
The party entered into an odd cave where they first found a chamber with three headless stumpy figures where it would seem two torsos were merged together where a face with two mouths sit. Another creature was a red humanoid figure covered in cilia without any eyes as two large tendrils sprouted from its shoulders. They rescued 2222 and Eveline Noel who were trapped in these containers with two others: a vren and a lunadrin. They didn't know how they got to this place, only kidnapped as far as they could tell.
Later on, the party finds Icyglian thralls attacking them as Zimiok continued to flee. They manage to find a whip hanging on a wall used on the otyugh in the waste pit.
Taking a rest from a brutal fight, Zimiok manages to escape on a strange ship that can fly through the cosmos.
After returning to Icyglia to report the news, Savrell is disappointed by the news that the fishermen didn't make it out alive. Regardless, a citizen came rushing to them, saying that there were three huge reptilian bird-like creatures with horse heads outside the town walls. Turns out a gith rider with three shantaks is looking for the party, as Kordgelle wanted to speak with them once the deed was done.
With a great liftoff, the party enters the astral plane and speedily heads toward the island of Kithalfithus. Unfortunately, Kordgelle was occupied in a meeting. So, an archivist directed them to the town of Revvokul. After purchasing their own shantak, the party heads into the town. They hear that Fort Octmorren has a shortage of workers so they head over.
Greeting the party was a rookie named Gerren and his more experienced partner Quith. They told the party about the jobs, such as finding the crew of the Guilded Vita, rescuing people kidnapped by nightgaunts, and dealing with a pirate problem. They chose to help with finding the Guilded Vita crew. After making it official with the seeker that overlooks the fort, the party awaits their new task.
