Rift Session 1
General Summary
1st of Early Ardent, 1798
The Party began in Yanping, as they rescue a changeling outsider named Ven in the Tomb of Emperor Minzou. Ven was sent there to learn about the Yinlong. The Arkonian Order sought to claim the outsider but the party repelled them.
After some introductions, they go to Munjing City during Dragon’s Day, when Yunzhou comes down to spread his wisdom to the world. Ven stepped up to tell him about being rescued by the party at the tomb. Yunzhou and the party accepted to meet privately at Lengfeng Mountain.
After being told about the outsider leaks, Yunzhou mentions about a fallen construct south of Munjing City in the forest. They all agreed to head over there to investigate the wreckage. Ven mentioned it was a warforged titan, a militant construct used to fight in a war he was part of. Snooping further into the machine further revealed that the crew was killed by an unknown source, as a black and fleshy substance is strung all around the machine. At the head of the construct was Kordgelle. He too was interested in the wreckage and offered a task to further investigate this strange phenomenon about outsiders from other worlds getting into Florenelle. The goal is to clean out creatures that have the likeness of his Kithalsis Court but don't answer to him. These false creatures could be found in Eisigfeld, the northern continent Icyglia stands on.
Curious, the Party accepts and is sent to Icyglia. They met Akramann and Toxel became a false Deacon under his whim to influence the Archbishop. They met Governor Savrell and he told the party about a fishermen group that wasn't reporting back.
The next day, the Party went off to the coastline and as they followed the trail of an attack, and found a cave opening. Amidst the dark light, they saw a purplish figure with four tendrils on its face that scurried into the dark.
