Verion
Background and Role in Our Story
Verion was born in the feywild, though the specific timing and date is understandably unknown, neither the fey nor the world that they live in having any real respect for time. In personality, the polar opposite of his brother Fallas, Verion's bright appearance reflects his more ludicrously happy mindset. The two brothers were keen on mischief and set about tricking and decieving all the fairfolk that they could. Then, one day the two saw a flicker of a purple portal, a Siaran door, materialise randomly before them. Sneaking through into the material plane, they found themselves in Vincerus' Castle. Before too long, a powerful fey approached them, offering them mischief-making opportunities in exchange for their loyalty. And so the malevolent satyr brothers bound themselves to Driscoll. The Satyrs settled themselves into the Castle and set about pranking the villagers of Qarton that wandered in, in the night. Their master informed them that some heroes would come soon, with whom the pair could have some fun but should let through to the main hall of the castle. Having captured Lobelia prior, the brothers came up with an entertaining game to play with the mortals. Placing the young girl in a cage above a huge spike, they gave the adventurers three questions to ask, to work out who was lying and who was telling the truth. Then, the heroes would have to decide which of their levers to pick. One would set the girl free, one would let her plummet to a grisly fate. The silly mortals didn't come close to the answer and didn't even seem to appreciate how fun the game was, but they managed to catch the girl and save her. Running further into the castle, Verion and Fallas awaited the arrival of their master. After the mortals were tricked into letting their master back into the feywild, the brothers followed him in. The next task that he set for them was to go to a mortal city, named Thrantium, where there were several things he wanted. Verion was so excited to get to do some more wonderful things for their master. Verion infiltrated the Mage's guild of Viseria by killing Master Jarana Duthane and taking on her appearance as a disguise. His goal, to break into the catacombs and fetch the feystone for his master. However, he was discovered by Master Vivienne, who had already been suspicious of a fey presence in the guild. Using his magic to shatter her mind, Verion ran away and realised that he and his brother required a more elaborate plan if they were to fetch the Siaran key for Driscoll. Therefore, Verion, as Master Jarana, made contact with Big Chungus in the Four Fingers. He gained his trust and led him to Siren's Island with the promise of power but in fact, killed him once there and had Fallas take on his appearance. Returning to the city with the powerful siege-stone of Thrantos, the plan was set into motion; Fallas would slowly charm the Four Fingers to his will and thus gain a small army, while Verion would continue his espionage within the Mage's guild looking for a way to clean out the catacombs of its stone of Siara and other powerful artifacts. It was all going swimmingly, until the bonk squad's meddling intervention. Having to speed up their plans, luckily the Satyr brothers had been providing Lord Surian and Hethress with help through the admissions, with the end goal being to have them smuggle the siege-stone into the catacombs to fulfil the final admissions test. Once done, Verion and Fallas activated the siege-stone, plunging Thrantium into chaos and unleashing their army, which gave them time to begin their heist for Driscoll. However, the infernal bonk squad appeared and attacked. Fallas was cut down and Verion soon followed.Appearance
Verion's complexion is pale, with white fur covering him from horns to hooves. He has a curled set of smooth horns that ring round his ears. He appears very different to his brother Fallas.Personality
Likes and Dislikes
Verion loves meeting new people and making friends with them by tricking them into doing terrible things, it's the most fun anyone can have. Driscoll is also the best of masters. Verion dislikes those party-poopers that won't join in the fun. Why wouldn't you want to play a game with the added risk of impaling a young girl?Personality quirks
Verion presents a sunny personality of smiles and laughs, but most normal people would see the madness that it belies. It's very odd to be so enthusiastic about cruelty and sadism, but hey...fey.
