Background and Role in Our Story

Hailing from the Wistarfairgun dwarf civilisation in the Pink Mountains, or the Wistarfairguni as they call them, Jarana always had a talent for forging, smithing and the arcane. Always seeking ways to further her craft, Jarana left her mountainous homeland in 629VD and headed for Thrantium, to join the Mage's guild of Viseria. Once there, Master Jarana rose through the ranks, eventually becoming head of the Guildforge and a master craftsman of arcane items and weaponry. In our tale, the bonk squad were suspicious of Master Jarana and whether she was the mysterious J, who tricked Big Chungus, killing him and replacing him with a disguised Fallas. When touching the amulet of Thrantos, Terry was able to see the moment in the catacombs of the Mage's guild when it was revealed that Verion had killed Master Jarana and had been impersonating her. Accompanied by Fallas, disguised as Big Chungus, the pair activated the siege-stone, which they had given to the unwitting Hethress in order for him to pass his final admissions test.

Appearance

Jarana's beaming dwarven face is enveloped in a mop of thick, rugged and unruly hair. Always slightly soot-smudged and clad in her trusty leather apron, Jarana's whiskers can always be seen to start poking through towards the end of the day.

Personality

Likes and Dislikes

Master Jarana likes smithing, crafting and well-made items. Above all, she values ingenuity and determination in the manufacturing of arcane items. Master Jarana dislikes long conversations and empty tankards.

Personality quirks

Master Jarana is a heavy drinker, who actually manages to maintain an inhuman control of her faculties when absolutely spannered. This resulted in her beating six of the finest smiths in Wistarfairgun, whilst too drunk to speak after an overzealous drinking contest and a bet.
