Governor Thequen Serus Fenro (a.k.a. The Iron Lordling, The Governor)
Physical Description
Thequen Fenro is somewhat tall for an elf. He is fit, and his features are elven fair. Each of his movements belies a purposeful grace.
His bones appear delicate, but his skin is rough for that of an elf.
He has high cheekbones and a square jaw.
He also has a scar down his cheek from an attempted assassination, but general consensus has that the scar looks quite good on him.
Each of Governer Fenro's movements is intentional. He never fidgets or makes a wasted movement.
Governor Fenro wears a fine suit, under which an observant individual may notice plates of armor.
Mental characteristics
Thequen Fenro was raised in Opus. He was a very curious youth, with an insatiable appetite for knowledge, and spent much of his time shut into his home. His parents died tragically just before his coming of age, when the title of lord, and the resources of his house were passed to him. The young Thequen quickly proved to be an extremely savvy statesman, but most unexpected was the young man's magnetic charm. Though he has been Everfall's most eligible bachelor for the past 60 years, but he still remains unmarried.
The young lord Thequen Fenro ran for the governorship of Opus forty two years ago, and won by a very wide margin. His nearly supernatural charm has retained him the position ever since.
Governor Fenro was given the best education his parents' considerable wealth could buy. He was educated by tutors from the time he could talk in all subjects. He was a savant when it came to political history and theory.
Thequen Fenro has only ever held two positions, a lordship, and a governorship. He still retains both positions.
Thequen became a lord at 19, and the governor of Opus 18 years later at the age of 37. He was the youngest elf to hold the position.
He expresses massive shame at his inability to stop the death of his parents. He is visibly much more angry when someone brings up his failure to stop drow lead dissident factions that dwell in the dark decks, and
The Voidsky Pact, the influence of which continues to become more widespread.
Governor Fenro is ruthless and cunning. Many would call him viscous or draconian (if they didn't fear angering the dragons with the insult). He is also extremely stubborn, and will never admit fault or defeat.
Governor Fenro has a philosophy based on strength and power. He believes that the smartest deserve to rule, for the good of themselves, and their subjects. He also believes that the smartest of all is himself.

Governor Fenro believes it is his duty and privilege to rule. Some people just need to own everything. He is one such person.

Governor Fenro believes that no higher power holds true authority over his life. If they did, they would have stopped him long ago.
Though he is extremely charming and charismatic, Governor Fenro affects an understated demeanor.
Thequen Fenro smiles alot, but he does so in a way that could almost be called a smirk.
Governor Thequen's accent is fine. His speech is quiet, but in such a way that it carries, and that all around him fall silent. It isn't that he can't raise his voice, he simply doesn't feel the need to. His tone is somewhat husky, and fairly deep, with an almost, but not quite, raspy quality.

History
High Console Shane Lander believes that the, then newly elected, Governor Thequen Fenro was behind the death of his mentor High Console Kiera Graham. High Console Lander has spent the past 40 years waiting for an opportunity to pay that debt back to the governor... with interest. For his part, Govergnor Fenro has a low opinion of his counterpart leading The Starlance Protectorate. Governor Fenro has looked down on High console Lander since the younger man's confirmation. Fenro has always believed Lander to be spineless and simple.
Relationship Reasoning
Both men were alive on opposite sides of the war, and came to power at a young age. The suspicious death of High Console Kiera Graham set the two on a path of conflict that has yet to come to a head

Both Fenro and Lander are students of history, but their particular interest reflect the culture of their upbringing, with Fenro focusing on politics, and Lander focusing on military strategy and command.

Governor Fenro is one of the wealthiest men or women in Everfall. His family had a considerable fortune before he took up the lordship. After The Iron Lording's shrewd management, and a series of lucky breaks, that wealth was considerably increased.
