Summer Camp 2022
Diamond and chill
The Pledge
I pledge to aim for the diamond badge during Summer Camp 2022. I also pledge to find joy in creation, not to burn myself out, and to throw myself back into the community that has given me so much.
Summer Camp in Etrea
Etrea is currently undergoing some major changes. I'm reworking and rewriting some old articles to make the world more consistent and more interesting; some things that have been in place in the world since I was thirteen are coming out to make for a more cohesive world. For Summer Camp, I intend to make stub articles for all 31 prompts. Also, I want to finish both the world introduction and magic articles in my spare time.Summer Camp in Vazdimet
This year, I became a co-author in Vazdimet, a space-faring science fantasy world created by M H Biscup. My Summer Camp 2022 is mainly going to be set in this world. I'm going to use the 31 prompts to create a new planet, which will hopefully give rise to many more stories and articles. At the moment, I'm not sure what kind of planet or society I'm going to create, as I'm waiting for the first wave of prompts to see what inspiration comes to me. I'm quite excited to be able to let my imagination run wild this year, as well as giving myself a solid base to work from in the future. The Community
One of my main goals for Summer Camp 2022 is to throw myself back into the World Anvil community. The past year has been quite difficult personally and I have found myself not able to engage as much as I would have liked to. This doesn't apply only to reading and commenting, but also to interacting in the Discord. I would like to read and comment on a few articles a day during Summer Camp. My goal is to not burn myself out on reading at the expense of my own worldbuilding this year. However, I still want to read some articles because I find the creativity of the community so inspiring! I am also striving to embody Nnie's Camp Chill, so if it all gets too much I will re-evaluate my goals.Nnie's Camp Chill Guidelines
- Remember the prompts are suggestions, not requirements.
- Write what you're passionate about, leave what you aren't.
- Relax when you feel tired.
- Fight off any pesky brain-squitos trying to make you doubt your work.
- Don't abandon your non-summercamp goals! Write that article you're itching to write, even if it doesn't fit any prompts.

The brevity and calm tone of this pledge is super inspiring. I wish you all the best of luck to have tons of fun during the Summer Camp. :D
