Yearning Marshes

Swampland just north of the Rocking Sea . While claimed by the Anazar Republic the inhabitants are mostly tribal and likely unaware of the nation's existence. Most stories of the location detail various monsters and a wild untamed land.
Recently a dragon  has started a cult consisting primarily of lizardfolk, and raiding and dominating the inhabitants.

Geography

The wetlands the comprise the area are fed by the river from the Roxforte Mountains and the storms that pass over. The many ponds and soft mud are only interrupted by trees and bushes. A peculiar mound is known to be on the eastern side, seemingly out of place with the rest of the area.
