Darkleaf Forests

Surrounding Dawnoak are many forests and thick wooded areas. Collectively they are referred to as the Darkleaf Forests and have typically been unremarkable. Occasionally some Orcs or Ogres would threaten travelers but usually a force from Dustgarde would quickly root them out. Recently, however, many farmers in the outlying areas have been reporting strange sightings of moving trees and vines, larger and more aggressive wolves. Some have even claimed seeing Orcs that quickly hide back into the forest despite no current hostilities.
