Ronin Mikoto
Ronin Fei Mikoto
According to legend, before Ronin Mikoto created a guardian animal to help protect the people of Esau. This deity always loves to kick up her heels. They rubbed their hands on their face, and then called over a large, brown bird. Ronin Mikoto taught it to dance, as they did they brushed its feathers with their hands, leaving behind a kaleidoscope of colours.
The “eyes” on the peacock’s tail feathers are said to evoke Ronin Mikoto’s eyes watching down over everyone on Esau. While the mournful cry of the peacock is a call to protect from Demons and devils from The Hells - a reminder that Ronin Mikoto is always there for the people of Esau.
Ronin Mikoto was encouraged by Moatama to join the Oberster Pantheon, because Taiia and Walia had loved to dance when young.
To cheer up the Sun Deity, in the period after Tempil Epoch, Ronin Mikoto asked Milil to play joyful music. Then Ronin Mikoto stripped down and danced, half-nude, on an upside-down tub. Many of the other deities all came to watch, along with roaming spirits, and angels from Celestia - they all laughed along as Ronin Mikoto danced.
It worked: Taiia got over her grumpy mood, and the Sun shone again.
In addition to their dancing triumph, Ronin Mikoto is also the deity for monks - who taught Capoeira; the art form that combines elements of martial arts, dance, acrobatics, music and spirituality.
